Recently, Poco announced the Poco X3 in Europe. We were expecting the device to make its way to India soon. And well, now it’s confirmed that the Poco X3 will launch in India on September 22.
Poco India took it to Twitter to confirm the launch of the Poco X3. It’ll launched at 12:00 noon on Flipkart. However, the device might be a little different than the one launched in Europe.
In Europe, they launched the Poco X3 NFC – Yes, NFC was included in the name there. Here, it’s expected to launch as Poco X3 – without the NFC being a part of the name. As NFC isn’t used much in India, it might very well be skipped for the Indian variant. However, we can’t really be sure about the same.
At its heart, Poco X3 will be equipped with the Snapdragon 732G – which is just an overclocked 730G. That’ll be paired with up to 8GB RAM and 128GB Internal Storage. The hybrid slot should also make its way to India so that a user can expand the storage by up to 256GB using a microSD card.
On the front, it might have the same 6.67-inch FHD+ 120Hz LCD punch-hole display. That punch hole will carry a 20MP selfie shooter. On the back, it’s expected to have the same quad camera setup. That’ll include a 64MP primary shooter paired with 13MP ultrawide, 2MP macro and 2MP depth sensors.
All this hardware will be powered by a mammoth battery. In India, the battery cell is expected to be a larger one than the 5,160 mAh which was launched in Europe. It’ll also come with the support of 33W fast charging.
We’ll get to know everything – including the price of Poco X3 at launch in India – which will be held on September 22.
