Recently, Pubg Mobile was banned in India citing security and privacy issues. However, it’s now finally returning back to India. And well, there are several changes being made to the game before it ends up being back on the Play Store.
It has been just confirmed that Pubg Mobile will return back to India as Pubg Mobile India – which is a now a subsidiary brand created specifically for India. Along with that, Pubg Corporation has also confirmed that they will be making investments of about US$100 million – just for the Indian market.
Pubg has also confirmed that they will be making several changes to Pubg Mobile India. First, they’ll be changing the gameplay environment – which will now look like a virtual training ground. Not only that but the in-game content will also be different than the international version. Also, the characters in the game will be dressed right from the beginning.
Other than all that, Pubg has also said that the hit effects will now be green – even though there was an option to do that with international version as well. The company also promises to have a feature that places restrictions on game time to promote healthy gameplay habits for younger generation.
The company has said that they are keeping the privacy and security aspect of the Indian players at the top while returning. The servers will now be set up in India with the help from Microsoft – which will be used to hold the data of Indian users.
As of now, there’s no word on the final release date for the game. But we expect it to arrive soon. It’ll be great to see what new changes are made to Pubg Mobile India. Also, we are still waiting on Fau-G which was revealed right after band on Pubg.
