OnePlus has just recently introduced the OnePlus 8T. And well, it looks like the company is already gearing up for another flagship – OnePlus 9 Series – launch – early next year. That’s good and bad at the same time and we might talk about it later.
According to the reports by the insider sources of Android Central, OnePlus might be launching the OnePlus 9 in mid-March of 2021. We aren’t really sure if it will have only OnePlus 9 or if it will arrive with the Pro variant. We do expect it to come with the Pro variant though.
Now, we think it’s a bit bad as the device would be launching earlier – and that would make the OnePlus 8T value go down quickly. However, if they don’t change the launch timing for the T line-up next year, then the main series might be able to hold their value for a little longer.
As of now, there are almost zero leaks about the upcoming OnePlus flagship. Only the codename of the device was recently leaked – and it’s supposedly named Lemonade. And well, we liked previous codenames more – but it is what it is.
About the specifications, there are absolutely no leaks. However, we do expect it to have the upcoming Snapdragon 875 chipset. And it should probably have up to 12GB RAM as well. Not only that but we also expect the OnePlus 9 Series to come with 65W charging – which was revealed with OnePlus 8T. Also, just like OnePlus 8 Pro and OnePlus 8T, we do expect it to come with 120Hz AMOLED display.
The launch is still a bit far away. But it’ll be sooner than last year. So, stay tuned as we will be right here to cover it.
