Huami has launched quite a few wearables earlier. And now, it is back with another one. Huami has launched their new Amazfit Band 5 in USA. It is launched with blood oxygen monitor and costs just $45 – which is about 10% of what the latest Apple Watch Series 6 with blood oxygen monitor costs.

Xiaomi revealed their Mi Smart Band 5 – a few months ago – in China. And this is pretty much the same watch – just with a different name. The only major difference is the addition of SpO2 sensor on the Amazfit which can measure blood oxygen levels. We don’t find that on the Mi Smart Band 5.

There is one more difference – not a major one – between those two watches. Amazfit Band 5 comes with Amazon Alexa support. This means you will be able to give voice commands to the band and set alarms and timers. With this feature, this fitness band feels more like a smartwatch – and that’s good. However, Mi Smart Band 5 doesn’t have that.

Amazfit Band 5 is equipped with a 1.1-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 126×294. As of now, 45 different watch faces are available and more might be added later. Major features include heart rate monitoring, sleep tracking, menstrual health monitoring and stress monitoring.

The band is water resistant up to 5ATM and can even control music or camera shutter – if needed. Inside, there’s a 125mAh battery powering everything here – which might seem small at first. However, it can last for up to 15 days – according to the claims made by Amazfit.

Amazfit Band 5 costs just $45 – and that’s one hell of a deal for the features it comes with. You’ll be able to buy it on Amazon starting September 21 in US.
