Recently, we saw and covered some leaks of the OnePlus 8T which revealed some of the specifications of the device. Later, we even covered a leak of the OnePlus 8T Pro – which won’t launch. Today, we are back with new leaks of the OnePlus 8T which reveals the design of the device.

OnePlus 8T design

The front part of the design was already leaked when we covered the leaks last time. This time though, the rear design of the OnePlus 8T has been leaked. You can see the design in the image above and let us know what you feel about this change.

For us, this change in design makes the device look even closer to the Samsung devices. The rectangular camera setup is something we never liked. It looks decent and can get the job done. However, we have always preferred a camera setup in the centre – similar to the OnePlus 8 Pro camera setup.

This new rectangular camera setup is expected to have a quad camera setup. There will be a 48MP primary camera – which is hopefully upgraded and not the same sensor as the one found on OnePlus 7. It will be paired with 16MP ultrawide, 5MP macro and a 2MP depth sensor. 5MP macro seems like an upgrade to the 2MP crappy sensor used earlier. However, we would always love to see a telephoto instead of depth and macro. Moreover, the macro can also be implemented using the ultrawide – and OnePlus has done that earlier.

The front looks the same as we saw in the last leaked images. There’ll be a punch-hole on the top left corner which is expected to equip 32MP selfie shooter.

OnePlus 8T might be launching soon – late September or early October is what the leaks say. So, we’ll get to know everything then.
