Samsung Galaxy M51 was recently launched in Europe where the specifications of the device were already revealed. However, it wasn’t launched in India back then. Today, Samsung has finally launched the Samsung Galaxy M51 in India – and the price starts at ₹24,999.
As people already got to know about the specifications when it launched in Europe, the pricing was the only part which was remaining to be seen in India. Samsung Galaxy M51 is available in two variants – 6GB/128GB which is priced at ₹24,999 and 8GB/128GB which is priced at ₹26,999.
Samsung Galaxy M51 – Specifications
On the front, Samsung Galaxy M51 is equipped with a 6.7-inch Infinity-O Super AMOLED FHD+ display. A punch-hole cut-out exists in the display which is used to equip the 32MP selfie shooter. Even though it’s an AMOLED display, the fingerprint sensor is still mounted on the side.
On the back, there’s a quad camera setup. The primary sensor is Sony’s 64MP IMX682 – which we have started seeing on some devices recently. Along with that, there’s a 12MP ultrawide sensor with 123° field of view. Other two sensors are to make up the number – but possibly a bit better in quality. Those two sensors are 5MP macro and 5MP depth. We would have definitely loved to see a telephoto sensor here instead of depth.
At its heart, the device is powered by Snapdragon 730G – which should be better than Exynos 9611 – which has been used on a ton of Samsung devices. Samsung Galaxy M51 also comes with a dedicated microSD card slot for expanding the storage up to 512GB. Also, it still retains the 3.5mm headphone jack and even comes with Dolby Atmos audio enhancements.
Powering all the hardware is mammoth 7,000 mAh battery. Samsung claims that the battery can go from 0% to 100% in 115 minutes – which is pretty impressive. And that is when you simply use the included 25W fast charger – which is included in the box. Also, Samsung flexes by offering reverse wired charging by using the Type-C to Type-C cable – which is also included in the box.
Galaxy M51 is being offered in two colour options – Celestial Black or Electric Blue. The sales start from September 18 and the device can be purchased from Amazon India or Samsung’s own online store.
