Redmi Smart Band was launched in China in the month of April. And today, ti has finally made its way to the Indian market. Redmi Smart Band comes with a 1.08-inch LCD display with 128×220 pixels resolution. The display can go up to 200-nits brightness which should be okay – but probably not the best. The display is protected by 2D tempered glass – no mention of Corning Gorilla Glass or anything.

On the connectivity side, Redmi Smart Band comes with the support of Bluetooth 5.0 LE. That is used to connect the band to Android or iOS devices. Also, it has the support of continuous heart rate monitoring which also provides heart rate alerts. It also comes with support of sleep tracking – which is really important for a fitness tracker. There are five sports modes available on the band – Outdoor Runnning, Exercise, Cycling, Treadmill and Fast Walking.

The band is water resistant up to 50 metres i.e. 5ATM. There’s a 130mAh battery powering the device and yet, it just weighs 13 grams. Xiaomi claims that the band will last for 14 days on a single charge.
