Earlier this year, OnePlus launched the OnePlus 8 Series. And well, now they are back with another launch. This time though, they are only launching one new device. And that device – namely OnePlus 8T – has just been launched.

OnePlus 8T

At its heart, OnePlus 8T comes with the same Snapdragon 865 chipset – and not the Snapdragon 865+. That is paired with 8GB/12GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB/256GB of UFS 3.1 Internal Storage. The device will be loaded with OxygenOS 11 based on Android 11 out of the box.

On the front, there’s a 6.55-inch FHD+ 120Hz AMOLED panel – and it’s now a flat panel again. This panel can achieve peak brightness of up to 1,100 nits. On the front, there’s a punch hole cut-out which is used to equip 16MP IMX471 selfie shooter.

When we turn the phone around, we can see the rectangular camera module on top-left. This module includes the same 48MP IMX586 as the primary shooter – which was first seen on OnePlus 7. That is paired with a 16MP ultrawide camera, 5MP macro and 2MP monochrome. While the upgrade to 5MP macro can provide decent improvement to the shots, we still consider it as something used to increase the numbers.

OnePlus 8T

OnePlus 8T is powered by a 4,500 mAh battery. And well, this can be charged at 65W through the USB Type-C port and the new 65W Warp Charger. We have already talked about the charging technology here. Also, to keep the device cool, OnePlus 8T is also equipped with vapour chamber that is 285% larger than OnePlus 8.

It’ll be available in two colour variants – Aquamarine Green and Lunar Silver. And it’s priced at ₹42,999 for 8GB/128GB variant and ₹45,999 for the 12GB/256GB variant. It’ll be available on Amazon, OnePlus Store and offline stores starting October 16.
