Motorola has been in and out of the smartphone market in the recent days. Earlier, it used to compete extremely well with the bigger players. But as of now, it is barely able to compete with other players in the market. However, they have just launched a new device which seems to be decent – at least on paper. Motorola has launched the Moto G9 Plus in Brazil.

At its heart, the Moto G9 Plus carries a Snapdragon 730G. It is paired along with 4GB RAM and 128GB Internal Storage. If you need more storage, you’ll also be able to expand the storage by up to 512GB using the microSD card slot.

On the front, the device is equipped wit 6.8-inch FHD+ Max Vision display. The display also comes with HDR10 support. On the top left, there is a punch hole cut out which is used to equip a 16MP selfie camera.

On the rear, there is a quad camera setup – where like almost every other manufacturer, only two are useful. There is a 64MP primary camera paired with 8MP ultrawide, 2MP macro and 2MP depth sensors.

The device runs on Android 10 out of the box. Here, the fingerprint sensor is mounted on the side. Oh, and the endangered 3.5mm headphone jack also exists on the device. Everything on the device is powered by a gigantic 5,000 mAh battery. This battery has 30W fast charging support and can be recharged through the USB Type-C port.

There are two colour variants available for Moto G9 Plus in Brazil – Rose Gold and Indigo Blue. It is priced at BRL 2,499 or US$470 – which seems a bit too high for what it’s offering. As of now, there is no word on if this device will be available for purchase in other markets.
