A few days back, we were looking at the leaks of OnePlus 8T. Right after that, we even saw the leaks of OnePlus Clover. However, we never saw the leaks for OnePlus 8T Pro. Today, there’s a leak about the OnePlus 8T Pro but some of you might not like it. OnePlus 8T Pro would never launch.
Yes, you read it correctly. There’s no OnePlus 8T Pro coming out this year. OnePlus 8T might still be making it to the market. But no Pro variant for the upcoming device. This information was leaked by one of the renowned leaksters – Max J. – on Twitter.
The leakster has a pretty decent track record. So, this might as well be confirmed information. However, we cannot vouch for this being confirmed information yet. We’ll get to know everything at the launch event and that’s when this information will be confirmed.
This looks like a good move – considering the amount of issues OnePlus 8 Pro’s display has. Even after several updates, those display issues remain unsolved for a lot of users. So, they might not want to go through the same issues again – especially when they are pricing those devices close to the real flagships.
However, we don’t know if that’s the only reason or if they are shifting their focus to the budget-friendly “flagships” again. Or maybe, they’ll launch one device per year which is priced at the “flagship” prices and packed with almost everything that a real flagship has.
Well, we can’t confirm anything at this point. So, just like you all, we’ll be waiting for the launch event for more confirmation – which according to the leaks, should happen soon.
