Google Pixel 5 was recently launched. While the Pixel 5 isn’t making its way to India, Pixel 4a is. Today, Google has finally launched the Pixel 4a in India with a special introductory price.

Google Pixel 4a

At the heart of Pixel 4a, there’s a Snapdragon 730G – which is a decent mid-range chipset. That is paired with 6GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage. However, you won’t be able to expand the storage – unless you have cloud storage.

On the front, there’s a 5.81-inch FHD+ OLED 60Hz OLED display. There’s a punch hole cut-out on the top left of the display which is used to equip the 8MP selfie shooter. This smaller display makes Pixel 4a one of the most compact devices in 2020 – at least, until iPhone 12 Mini launches.

On the back, there’s just a single 12.2MP f/1.7 camera with OIS. While some might think that having a single camera is a downer, we think that having a single great camera is better than having multiple mediocre cameras. The speciality of Pixel cameras lies in the software – and it’ll be no different with Pixel 4a. Features like Night Sight, Portrait Mode and Top Shot will be present on Pixel 4a.

Pixel 4a will come with Android 10 out of the box. Also, the custom-made Titan-M chipset will also be present on the device. Everything on the device will be powered by 3,140 mAh battery which supports 18W fast charging through USB Type-C Port.

There is only one colour – Just Black – available for the Google Pixel 4a. It is priced at ₹31,999 for the 6GB/128GB variant – which is the only variant. However, you will be able to buy it for ₹29,999 during the sale on Flipkart – starting October 16.
