Several smartphone manufacturers have already entered the Smart TV market as well. And now, Oppo is doing the same. Oppo will launch its first Smart TV on October 19 at a launch event in Shanghai, China.

Oppo Smart TV

We have already seen quite a few brands under BBK Electronics enter the Smart TV industry. So, it isn’t much surprising to see Oppo do the same. While Oppo hasn’t revealed any details about the TV yet, we do know that there will be at least two models.

According to some of the leaks, Oppo will be launching at least two Smart TV models. One of them will be a 55-inch model while the other one will be a larger 65-inch one. Both will be having a 4K QLED 120Hz display – which we think would be pretty great.

Also, the leaks have pointed out that the TVs will come with extremely thin bezels – just like several other Smart TVs in the market. Not only that but it is also expected to come with built-in pop-up camera. We personally don’t like cameras on TVs. However, if it’s a pop-up camera, then it shouldn’t be a huge issue as it’ll not always be spying on us. And whenever, it comes out, we’ll know that the camera is being used.

Both these Oppo Smart TVs have already passed 3C and Bluetooth Certification. And well, that’s the only reason some information about the TV is already available. Even though there is no confirmation about these TVs launching in India, we do expect them to launch here. And that’s mainly because some of its sister brands have already launched Smart TVs in India. But well, the launch isn’t too far away, and we’ll get to know everything soon. So, stay tuned as we’ll be covering it.
