Apple had recently posted about a new launch event on September 15, 2020. Today is that day. The launch event starts at 10:30 PM IST. And we are here to cover the Apple Live Launch Event 2020 in this article.
In this launch, Apple is expected to launch the new Apple Watch Series 6. Along with that, it is also expected that Apple will be launched a cheaper Apple Watch SE. New iPad Air, Apple TV, cheaper HomePod, over-ear Apple-branded headphones and AirTags might also be announced in this launch event. However, iPhone 12 Series might not be launched in this event.

Apple iPad 8th Generation

11:19 PM IST: iPad Air goes live with completely new design. Looks really good and close to the iPad Pro line-up. It is available in 5 different colours.
11:21 PM IST: In the same footprint as its predecessor, the new iPad Air is equipped with a 10.9-inch display. Also, Touch ID is retained on the iPad Air. It is shifted on the top. We hope something similar is implemented on iPhone Series as well.
11:22 PM IST: Apple iPad Air is powered by A14 Bionic – which is built using 5nm technology. It is the first in the industry to use this technology.
11:28 PM IST: Apple iPad Air comes with USB Type-C. That’s a huge jump. We are just wishing for the same on iPhone 12 Series now. Yes, too much to wish for – but can’t help. Also, comes with Wi-Fi 6 and LTE support.
11:31 PM IST: Apple iPad Air starts at $599. It’ll be available from next month.
OS Updates
11:33 PM IST: New OS Updates will be released tomorrow. iOS 14, iPad OS 14, Watch OS 7 and TV OS 14 will all be released tomorrow.
