Xiaomi has been planning to launch a new series of smartphones, the Xiaomi CC Series which will be focused on young generation around the world. The first device to be launched under this series will supposedly be called as Xiaomi Mi CC9 and is launching on July 2.
The launch date has been officially announced by Xiaomi on their Weibo’s profile. The post on Weibo also showed off an invitation to the event that will be held in Beijing, China.
There is no official confirmation about the smartphone yet. Also, there haven’t been much leaks for this series which would make the launch quite exciting (only if it doesn’t get leaked anymore). But from the few leaks which have been posted online, it is expected to sport a triple camera setup on the back. This triple camera setup will be in a flip camera mechanism module, just like the Zenfone 6. And the device is going to be a Xiaomi X Meitu collaboration.
The cheaper variant in this series is supposed to be the Xiaomi Mi CC9e, which has already been leaked in an official promo video as well as a render. This smartphone is seen to have a small waterdrop notch on the front.
Also, Xiaomi has revealed some promo images during the weekend which shows different meanings of the “CC” series. The various meanings of CC can be seen in the images below.
Out of all these, the most interesting was “Curious & Creative” and “Camera Clicks” and that’s what making me excited about the launch on July 2. Let me know which one is your favourite out of all.
