OnePlus came up with their first pair of Bullets Wireless with the OnePlus 6. After a year, they launched an upgraded version – Bullets Wireless 2 with the OnePlus 7. Now, OnePlus has already confirmed that the new OnePlus Bullets Wireless (Z) will be launched alongside OnePlus 8 Series on April 14, 2020.

This confirmation came in through the official account on Twitter. Also, the post confirmed that this new pair will come with fast charging support which would allow you to use the earphones for 10 hours by just charging it for 10 minutes. While this already existed with the previous version, some leaks are indicating an increase in the battery life as well.

A leaker named Ishan Agarwal has also posted a few more details about the upcoming OnePlus Bullets Wireless. He said that these will be called OnePlus Bullets Wireless Z and won’t be truly wireless earbuds. This can be pretty much confirmed when we see the lifestyle images which were posted on Patreon by another famous leaker – evleaks. As they aren’t truly wireless earbuds, we probably won’t be able charge them using that new 30W wireless charger.

Even before he posted those lifestyle images, he already gave us a look at all the colour options which might come with this new pair of earphones. However, the names were revealed with the lifestyle images – Blue, Black, Oat and Mint.

Looking at those images of the Bullets Wireless Z and some of the leaks of the upcoming OnePlus 8 Series, it looks like OnePlus is trying to have similar colour options for the device as well as the accessories. So, OnePlus also wants you to make a fashion statement when you buy their products by colour matching them with accessories.

From everything we are seeing right now, it can be pretty much confirmed that we won’t see much of a difference in design of the earphones. However, we can expect a little better battery life with better sound – if they upgrade the drivers as well.

Well, whatever it ends up being, we’ll get to know about that in a few days. Until then, if you want, you can read my reviews on OnePlus Bullets Wireless as well as the OnePlus Bullets Wireless 2 which I had posted on OnePlus Forums. I’ll try to get my hands on the latest pair once it is launched to write a review and provide you the feedback if it’s any better than the previous version.
