With the Realme Smart Cam 360, Realme is aiming to enter the smart home security category. And well, it looks like this security camera is their first step in that.

Realme Smart Cam 360 is a 360-degree rotating security camera which has FOV of 105-degree. This security camera is capable of shooting 1080p WDR (Wide Dynamic Range) videos. They are stored using the H.265 video encoding which helps in saving space.

Realme claims that it is capable of storing up to 14 days of continuous 1080p recording. To get the maximum number of days of recording, you’ll have to use 128GB microSD card – which is the maximum supported capacity. To prevent the videos from being played directly on a smartphone or a computer, Realme stores the videos in private file format.

The Realme Smart Cam 360 also comes with Infrared Night Vision which will give you good quality low-light recordings. Also, there’s AI Motion Detection Monitor and Real-Time Motion Tracking which helps in detecting motion and sending alerts. If you want, you can also talk back through the camera. This security camera – like most others – can be installed on the ceiling if you want.

Officially, Realme Smart Cam 360 is priced at ₹2,999. However, you can get it at ₹2,599 during the introductory offer which will be running through the Diwali Sale. It’ll be available for purchase on Realme’s website and Flipkart starting October 16.

Majority of the plugs in our house aren’t smart. And well, changing just one of them from the base can be a bit tough. But well, you don’t have to change them now. Along with the Realme Smart Cam 360, Realme has also launched the Realme Smart Plug.

With the help of this plug, you will be able to control any of your appliances over Wi-Fi. To do that, you’ll just have to use the Realme Link App. Not only that but if you have a Smart Speaker at your place, you’ll be able to control your appliances using voice commands. And yes, Realme Smart Plug supports both – Google Assistant and Alexa. So, it’ll work on most smart speakers.

Realme Smart Plug is capable of handling input voltage of 100V-250V while the maximum current output is limited to 6A. So, you won’t be able to plug in those appliances which require 15A of current supply. For safety, Realme says that the plug is equipped with 5-layer safety protection – which includes overheat protection.

The Realme Smart Plug is priced at ₹799. It’ll go on sale through Realme’s own website and Flipkart starting October 16.
