Reliance Jio Fiber was launched just a little over a year ago. Almost everyone was expecting them to bring a revolution in the broadband industry – just like they did with the telecom industry. But when the plans were announced, they were underwhelming, to say the least. However, it looks like things have changed now with them announcing new plans. These new Reliance Jio Fiber Plans are exactly what consumers expected when it was first launched.

The new plans have now started offering truly unlimited data. However, all these truly unlimited data plans have a commercial usage policy of 3300GB. And that is clearly mentioned under the Terms and Conditions.

As of now, these truly unlimited data plans can be availed for speeds up to 300Mbps. The lowest speed one can go for is 30Mbps – and that’s the cheapest plan of the bunch. It comes in at ₹399 – exclusive of taxes – which is pretty decent for people who are on a budget. Also, it’s pretty great for parents as they can get this plan for their kids’ online lectures.

However, if one wants to go for plans with higher speeds, they can opt in for 100Mbps plan at ₹699, 150Mbps plan at ₹999 and 300Mbps plan at ₹1499. Note that all the prices mentioned here do not include any taxes. That means you’ll be paying additional taxes over the amount mentioned here.

Also, note that Jio Fiber offers OTT Apps Subscriptions with 150Mbps or higher plans. The two basic plans – 30Mbps and 100Mbps – do not come with OTT Apps Subscriptions. Also, it’s highly important to note that all these plans have symmetric upload and download speeds. It means that if you buy 100Mbps plan, it’ll offer you 100Mbps upload as well as 100Mbps download speed.

Starting this September, Reliance Jio Fiber is also offering 30-days free trial. There are two options for the trial as well. One would provide you with 4K Set-Top Box and OTT Apps Subscription while the second wouldn’t come with that. The One-Time Refundable Costs are ₹2500 and ₹1500 respectively. This cost also includes device and installation charges of ₹1000 – which will be only refunded if you decide to cancel your connection within the trial period of 30 days.
