Last night, Xiaomi teased the launch of the Mi 10T and Mi 10T Pro through an Ad on Twitter. We were quick to cover that. And in the same article, we said that Xiaomi might be announcing the launch date at 12PM IST today. And well, they did just that. Xiaomi India has confirmed and revealed the launch date for Mi 10T and Mi 10T Pro. The Mi 10T Series will launch in India on October 15.
The new series will be revealed at 12PM IST through and online launch event. And a landing page has already gone live on Flipkart which confirms that this new series will be available on Flipkart.
As of now, not much has been revealed about the devices. However, they were recently launched in Europe. So, we already know everything about the device – except the price. Mi 10T Series comes with an intelligent 144Hz display. This can intelligently shift from 30 Hz to 144Hz – depending on the content. In between those two modes, it can also shift to 48Hz, 50Hz, 60Hz, 90Hz and even 120Hz.
Out of the two devices which are currently confirmed to arrive in India, one will have a 108MP primary camera. And that’s the Mi 10T Pro. On the other hand, Mi 10T might launch with a 64MP primary camera.
Both devices are expected to launch with Snapdragon 865 at its heart. This will make both devices 5G capable – thanks to the built-in 5G modem. The only thing we can’t confirm right now is the price. However, that will be confirmed on October 15. So, stay tuned as we will be covering it.
