We have already seen quite a lot of laptops from the Lenovo Legion Series. And well, that series is now coming down to smartphones as well. The Lenovo Legion is expected to be a gaming focused smartphone – and it might also have 90W fast charging support.
The Lenovo Legion Series of smartphones should be coming soon in the market to compete with the likes of Razer and Black Shark. Today, an image of a poster was shared on Weibo which gave an idea about the 90W fast wired charging.
As of now, the fastest wired charging solutions for smartphones is at 65W. There have been concepts by a few companies which have showcased that they are working on 120W fast wired charging technologies. But it does seem like they’ll take more time to reach the market. So, until the 120W fast wired charging is released in the market, 90W fast charging on Lenovo Legion can act as a great intermediate.
The same 90W fast charging support was confirmed by a renowned leakster on Weibo. He managed to find a different poster to share with the Internet.
Even though we believe that the future will be wireless, these fast, wired charging solutions aren’t going anywhere anytime soon. And it’s great to see several brands working on them to make it even better. We hope to see more of that in the future. Also, we hope to see more improvements in the wireless charging technologies in the future.
