Redmi recently announced the Redmi K20 and K20 Pro in some parts of the world. Xiaomi is keen on launching the device in India on July 15. To build the hype and compete against its competitors, Xiaomi has started promo campaigns just like last year. They are stooping lower and lower to build the hype – by trolling OnePlus. This time though, Xiaomi trolls OnePlus through the AnTuTu score.

A few days ago, @RedmiIndia’s twitter account tweeted a picture which said “Somebody jus+ announced the world’s fastest phone” which clearly indicates which brand they are targeting. On the bottom of that picture, it also said “Hold my AnTuTu” which indicated that Redmi K20 Pro to have a higher score. And today, Xiaomi has revealed the AnTuTu score of the device.

The AnTuTu score revealed by Redmi is 388,803 which seems to be the highest score on AnTuTu yet. Well, as good as the score sounds, I can’t say how much true this is. I’m saying based on the fact that a YouTuber named Ash – from C4ETech – tested out the K20 Pro against the OnePlus 7 – Yes, OnePlus 7 and not even the Pro version. And during consecutive 5 AnTuTu tests, OnePlus 7 scores were consistent and higher than the Redmi K20 Pro.

Not only that, the current ranking page of AnTuTu shows that OnePlus 7 Pro ranks the highest on the chart, even above the Mi9. And there’s still no name of Redmi K20 Pro on the charts. Well, when the Redmi K20 Pro officially releases in India and if I get my hands on one, I’ll test out these benchmarks to see if it’s true.
