We saw a new Realme device on TENAA listing a few days ago. It was carrying a model number RMX2142 which is supposedly going to be the Realme X3. But that listing just had a few specifications. However, the TENAA listing is now updated with all the specifications and even images of the Realme X3.

Realme X3 – RMX2142 will be powered by a Snapdragon 765G at its core. This would be paired with three RAM and three storage options. You’ll be able to opt for 6GB, 8GB or 12GB RAM and 64GB, 128GB or 256GB of internal storage. There will be two colour options to choose from – White and Gray-Blue.

On the front, the device is supposed to feature a 6.57-inch TFT FHD+ punch-hole display. As of now, it’s unclear if the display will have higher refresh rate or not. But if this ends up being true, it’ll be sad as TFT panels shouldn’t be used in 2020. However, we will reserve the final judgement until it’s launched, and we have our hands on it.

That punch hole is pill-shaped as it houses dual selfie cameras on the top-left corner. There is a primary 16MP selfie shooter paired with 2MP sensor. This primary sensor will most likely be the IMX471 which has been used by some other brands since ages. Secondary might just be a depth sensor.

Now that we have already started talking about cameras, let’s get to the rear cameras. There is a quad camera setup on the back of the device. This includes a 48MP primary sensor which is paired along with 8MP sensor – possibly ultrawide and two 2MP sensors – possibly macro and depth sensors. All this hardware will be powered by a 4,100 mAh battery which might have 30W fast charging support.

The device will be running on Realme UI based on Android 10 out of the box. There will be a side-mounted fingerprint sensor – which shouldn’t be that big of a deal as we have seen several devices coming with the same implementation. Also, there should be support for dual mode 5G. However, it can’t be said if it’ll have that support out of the box or not.

As almost everything is revealed at this point, the launch might happen sooner than we expect.
