Realme had recently revealed their Realme 7 Series. Today, they are adding another device to the series. Realme has finally launched the Realme 7i in India – a cheaper variant in the Realme 7 Series.

Realme 7i

At its heart, Realme 7i is equipped with the Snapdragon 662 chipset. To be honest, it’s quite an old chipset to be used in 2020. But it looks like the trend in the smartphone industry is going back in several ways. Snapdragon 662 is paired with 4GB RAM and 64GB/128GB Internal Storage. It can easily expanded by using a microSD card.

On the front, Realme 7i comes with a 6.5-inch 90Hz HD+ LCD panel. While we are glad to see 90Hz here, it’s sad to see that it’s just an HD+ panel. There’s a punch hole on the top-left of the display which is used to equip the 16MP selfie shooter.

When we move to the back, we can see the quad camera setup in a rectangular camera module. There is a 64MP primary shooter which is paired with an 8MP ultrawide, 2MP macro and 2MP depth. And as we all know, the last two are just making up numbers here.

All this hardware will be powered by a 5,000 mAh battery. It can be charged at 18W through the USB Type-C port. The device will be running on Android 10 out of the box.

Realme 7i will be available in two colour options – Fusion Green and Fusion Blue. The 4GB/64GB variant is priced at ₹11,999 while the 4GB/128GB variant is priced at ₹12,999. You’ll be able to buy it on Realme’s website, Flipkart and several other offline stores – starting October 16.
