Honor is the sub-brand of Huawei which releases pretty great smartphones at quite an affordable price point. Now, with the recent announcement, it might be interesting to see what they price their newer device at. The announcement I’m talking about is of a 5G device. Yes, Honor is said to release its first 5G smartphone in the final quarter of 2019.
This was announced by the Honor’s President – George Zhao, during a talk at the MWC Shanghai 2019. No other specifications were revealed alongside this, but it was revealed that the device will be a flagship device.
The president of the company also expects that the 5G sales might break 100 million mark in 2020. And he even bets that China will be the market who would do it first.
