OnePlus started launching T-variant devices – starting with OnePlus 3T. As per the leaks we have seen till now, it isn’t going to be any different this year. The launch for the new OnePlus device – OnePlus 8T has already been scheduled for October 14. However, before that launches, we have already received the leaks of the price for OnePlus 8T. And most of you wouldn’t have expected this.
The leak was first pointed out by a well-known leakster – Ishan Agarwal. It was found on Amazon Germany’s website where the device was listed way before launch. This listing suggested the price of the OnePlus 8T to be €693 for 12GB/256GB variant. That’s an odd number but it is probably due to the recent reduction of taxes in Germany. So, in other European markets, it might be €699 – as that’s the closest number.
That’s the same price that the OnePlus 8 currently sells at. However, it was pointed out that the 8GB/128GB variant of the OnePlus 8T will be priced at €599. Now, that is €50 less than what the OnePlus 8 with 8GB RAM and 128GB Internal Storage is selling at. This would probably look like a good deal for majority of customers.
OnePlus 8T has been leaked quite a lot by now. The design was previously leaked – which indicates that the design will look similar to Samsung devices. Also, the specs of the device have been leaked quite a lot. Earlier, the leaks indicated that the device would come with Snapdragon 865+. However, the leaks which came after that pointed at Snapdragon 865 – without Plus.
